The FLUOVIEW FV1200 can be equipped with a two channel confocal GaAsP detector unit. This filter-based confocal detection unit attaches either to the filter or spectral type scanning unit and is used as 4th and 5th confocal channels for fluorescence detection. The ultra-high sensitivity detector makes it possible to view samples that were simply too dim to view with conventional equipment.

2 Channel High-sensitivity Detection
The GaAsP PMT detector unit incorporates 2 additional channels and combines the images with the already 3 built-in channels of the scan unit. By this means, 5 simultaneous confocal detection channels are available for your scientific work.
Cooled GaAsP PMT
Special selection of GaAsP PMT detectors offers high sensitivity with up to 45 % quantum efficiency (QE). Olympus has implemented Peltier cooling technology on the GaAsP detectors, resulting in improved signal to noise ratio.
Fully Compatible with FV1000 and FV1000MPE
This unit is fully compatible with the FLUOVIEW FV1000 and FV1000MPE systems.
Exchangeable Filters
The user-accessible filter cube facilitates the easy exchange of high-performance filters.
On-site Upgrade
Attaches to the optional port of either the filter or spectral type scanning unit and is used as high-sensitivity 4th and 5th confocal fluorescence detection channels.
