The IO inter-face box for the FLUOVIEW FV3000 confocal laser scanning microscope is capable of receiving electrical signals from external devices as an image equivalent to that acquired via four channels, and is also able to transmit scan timing (trigger) signals to external devices. In addition the unit can process a variety of electrical signals depending on the type of external device connected.
BNC input and output ports (-10 V to 10 V) enable you to introduce signals from other kinds of specialized detectors and trigger output channels (frame active, line active, pixel clock etc.) for easy synchronization with external devices.
External Data Processing via Four Additional Channels
The unit is capable of receiving electrical signals transmitted from external devices as an image equivalent to that acquired via four channels.
Output of Scan Timings and Triggering
The unit is capable of transmitting scan timing signals to external devices. Possible signals include scan start, frame trigger, line trigger and pixel clock signals.
I/O Signal Processing
Depending on the type of external device connected, the unit is capable of processing a variety of electrical signals, such as action potentials, current, temperature, pressure and flow rate. The unit can also process the intensity data of a specimen and electrical signals transmitted from external user PMTs running the same software.
