Synchronized Imaging at High SpeedFeaturing a fast frame rate for super-resolution imaging, the IXplore IX85 SpinSR rapidly acquires dynamic cellular events at the nanoscale with XY resolution down to 120 nm. Capture ultra-small cellular dynamics by imaging at speeds up to 200 fps at full frame. Our real-time controller works as the system’s conductor, ensuring imaging is coordinated with microsecond accuracy. Bright Super-Resolution Images of Live CellsThe high-sensitivity model equipped with a SoRa disk realizes brighter super resolution image acquisition thanks to the spinning disk with a microlens in the confocal pinhole. Each confocal pinhole enables you to image with lower laser power, reducing photobleaching and phototoxicity in your sample while enabling bright super-resolution images. Image clarity depends on how the sample is illuminated and how efficiently the emitted light is collected. In a standard spinning disk confocal system, some light passes through the pinhole but may not be clearly resolved if it is off center. The SoRa disk addresses this by using microlenses to redirect each point of light toward the center of the pinhole, resulting in sharper, brighter images. This approach enhances resolution to nearly the best possible level—like what could be achieved with a theoretically infinitesimal pinhole. |
